Courtney started her official work with animals her freshman year in high school logging over one hundred volunteer hours at the local Humane Society in Brunswick, Maine. After the time and experience with these pets she knew this was her future, but she was unsure in what direction she would pursue it. She has traveled with her family from Maine to Virginia to Southern California, and now back to New York since that time. While residing in California she worked in a very large full service facility. This is where she has earned her “paws” from daycare, kennel tech, meal prep, to assisting in minor outpatient surgeries. While gaining more experience in behavior training and animal care at Milton Manor Courtney aspires to become a veterinarian assistant. She finds the clinical animal care is her true calling. Until the future becomes her present she is thoroughly enjoying her time at Milton Manor dog daycare, getting to know her clients and spending quality time with their fur babies. Courtney enjoys all different animals and breeds, but a rottweiler has a special place in her heart and she hopes to adopt her own one day. When Courtney is not at work she enjoys daily trips to the gym, visiting with Maine friends, spending time with family in the beautiful Adirondacks, sightseeing, hiking, and getting to know her new home.
