How Does Dog Daycare at Milton Manor Differ from Other Dog Daycares?
At Milton Manor near Saratoga Springs NY, dogs enjoy a daycare experience like none other. Our pet spa and resort is a member of the Dog Gurus, Safe Off Leash Dog Play and our staff members have completed training with Dog Gurus including Knowing Dogs 101, Knowing Dogs 201, Evaluating Dogs 301. All of our staff have taken the Group Play Safety Pledge.
Some of the other features that set our dog daycare in Saratoga apart from other dog daycares in the Capital District include the following:
- Dogs can enjoy both the indoor (1500 square foot) and outdoor (3000 square foot ) play areas.
- Our indoor play areas feature rubber flooring, which is much better for dogs' joints than concrete flooring.
- Our outdoor play area features artificial turf, which helps to eliminate the possibility that dogs could consume foreign matter such as stones, dirt, grass, etc. In addition, dogs stay much cleaner than when playing in pea gravel, dirt, mud or other common surfaces. Artificial turf is also much more gentle on sensitive paws than pea gravel or pavement.
- The staff to dog ratio at Milton Manor is a maximum of 1:15 for safety.

Dog Daycare Hours & Availability
Our doggie daycare is offered Monday through Friday for dogs from 25lbs to 80lbs.
Doggie daycare is offered on Monday's and Thursday's for small dogs under 25lbs.
Drop off time for dog daycare is between 7:00am to 9:00am. All dogs must be dropped off by 9am to participate in daycare, no exceptions. If you drop your dog off after 9am, they will not be able to join group.
Pick up time is between 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
Please note we are closed on the holidays listed on the right.
Reservations are required as we are limited on the number of dogs we can take per day. We require all dogs to attend at least once per week to learn appropriate group play behaviors. Thank you for your understanding.
Daycare will consist of both mental and physical stimulation through out the day along with a midday nap. During the morning hours, staff will work on manners, such as sit, stay, come when called and gate boundries. When all dogs know these commands, the group behaves much better as a whole. The afternoon will consist of monitored group play.
Snow Day Closing Policy: If BOTH Saratoga Springs School District and Ballston Spa School District are closed for the day (announced before 7am), daycare at Milton Manor will also be closed. If there is only a delay or only one school district is closed, daycare will proceed following normal hours (we do not have any delays).

Cancelation and Package Policys
Please cancel any daycare reservation at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled day of daycare or your will incur a charge for the day. i.e. cancel by 9am on Tuesday for a Wednesday daycare day.
The first three days of daycare will be at the individual fee, after this, clients are required to keep an open daycare package at all times. Please see Rates Page.
Daycare Application
First please register as a new client if you have not used us for any service in the past. Then please complete our Daycare Application that we can then attach to your profile. Please submit electronically by selecting "Submit" at the bottom of the form. Please also fax a copy for your pet's vaccination records to 518-691-4361 or email to info@miltonmanor.com - Once all information is complete and we are ready to schedule your pet's assessment, we will email our contract to complete as well.

Please note that while dogs are playing, only staff are allowed in the daycare area. You will be able to see the area through a viewing window or from video on TV monitors in our Resort lobby.
**Please Note: Resort is closed to tours during holiday weeks and weekends, mid-winter & spring breaks, and other popular vacation times when the Resort is at capacity with boarding guests.
