About me:

Shannon is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed.  Using positive reinforcement training methods, she helps clients teach their dogs how to be well behaved family members. Her goals for each training session are to help dogs understand what their people want from them.

Group Classes


Class Description: Basic Manners 1

Duration: 6 weeks

Cost: $150 (10% discount for rescue dogs on their first class)

For dogs five months and older who have had little or no prior training, this is the place to start. We will cover the basic skills your dog needs in order to become a well behaved member of your family: focus, sit, down, stay, come, leave it, and loose leash walking.


Class Description: Basic Manners 2

Duration: 6 weeks

Cost: $150

For dogs who already have a foundation of obedience training, this class will strengthen your dog's skills by adding distractions and challenges to the behaviors they already know. We will also cover polite greetings for dogs and people, go to place, and reducing the use of treats as rewards.


Class Description: Puppy Manners

Duration: 6 weeks

Cost: $150 (10% discount for rescue dogs on their first class)

For puppies under five months old, this class will offer a foundation of basic obedience training.  Additionally, this is a good opportunity to socialize your puppy and get them some experience in a new environment.


Class Description: Canine Good Citizen

Duration: 6 weeks

Cost: $150

This class will prepare you and your dog for the American Kennel Club's Canine Good Citizen test. the first five weeks will be spent practicing the test items, and the test will be given on the last week.


Class Description: Tricks and Games

Duration: 6 weeks

Cost: $150

A great way to have fun with your dog while reinforcing basic obedience training.  Tricks are an enjoyable way to strengthen your relationship with your dog, and can be a healthy outlet for energetic dogs who need lots of activity to stay out of trouble.
