Overnight Care Information & Requirement

"Maid Service" assures that your "cool cat" always has fresh food, water and litter daily. It also provides your feline friend with pets and ear rubs to help them feel more comfortable. Please bring your cats normal dry and/or wet food for their stay with us. We provide the dishes, litter pan and kitty litter for you.

Feline Entertainment Options

PLAYTIME for cats is a great way for your special kitty to get some extra attention and loving while staying at the Manor. We play with kitty toys or just simply pet them while laying on our laps. They will love it :)

BRUSHING is a great time for your feline to get more one on one attention and maintain your pets coat.

PAMPER PACKAGE will consist of 2 playtime sessions.

KITTEN PACKAGE will consist of extra attention and exercise (available for kittens under 6 months of age).

Diabetic Cats

We do not accept diabetic cats as they don't do well with boarding. If you have a diabetic pet and are in a need of boarding, please call the Ballston Spa Veterinary Hospital or the Greenfield Animal Hospital.

Medication

Oral medications that can be given with your pets meal are given at no extra charge (please note that some cats can be very picky eaters when away from home and we can not guarantee they will take their medication). However, if your pet needs to be "pilled" or needs topical medication, there will be a nominal fee of $2.00 per administration.

**Please note: We do not board cats on heart, digestive, arthritis, asthma/inhaler or antibiotic medications as well as eye or ear medication.  They should be boarded at a veterinary practice**

Vaccination Requirement

Cats must be current on the following vaccinations prior to admittance into the resort: Distemper (FVRCP) and Rabies. All pets must be vaccinated for Distemper and Rabies PRIOR TO ARRIVAL into our facility as they require a veterinarians administration.

**Please note: We do not board any cat tested positive for HIV/FeLV**

Arrival Information

All cats should arrive in a carrier. By everyone doing this we eliminate the risk of them jumping out of your arms.

Your cat will be examined upon arrival at our facility, and if fleas are found, a Capstar or frontline will be given at the owners expense. This is to keep our establishment free of fleas and also protect all of the animals staying with us.

Personal items may be brought with your pet for his/her stay. However, it is requested that you not bring anything expensive or of sentimental value, as sometimes pets damage the items. We are not responsible for loss or damage of any items. Please label all of your pet's bedding with the pet's name and last name. In the case where it may get dirty, this makes it easier to keep your pets items identified when being washed.

At our boarding facility, your pet is like one of our own. Should a problem arise in your absence, we will perform any necessary treatments to ensure your pet's good health. We ask that you leave an "emergency number" where you will be staying, or that of a relative or friend who would either be able to contact you directly or make a decision in your absence. We have a veterinarian available for emergencies only. An Emergency Clinic will be used for emergencies outside of normal business hours.

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY EXPENSES OF EXTRA VETERINARY CARE.
